Obstacle Survey

An important prerequisite for aircraft safety at an airport, is that the immediate vicinity is always kept free from pervasive obstacles.

LFV’s competent employees solve an airport’s full undertaking by checking the level of obstacle clearance against applicable regulations, assure the quality of collected data and transfer measurement results onto the governing obstacle maps. With LFV as the supplier, airports can rest assured that the airport is free from obstacles that could affect flight safety.

We have developed a unique measurement platform that includes advanced laser range finders. This means that we can effectively produce and develop data. The Swedish Transport Agency, recommends that obstacle measurements are performed at least every three years so that trees or other objects are not added without the airport operator being aware of it.
