Launch of the SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking

On 5 May, the SESAR 3 JU gathered in Brussels its founding members, staff, as well as representatives from the European institutions and key stakeholders to mark the launch of the new partnership, which aims to accelerate, through research and innovation, the delivery of an inclusive, resilient and sustainable Digital European Sky.
Among those who signed the new agreement was LFV's Director General Ann Persson Grivas. The SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking is an institutionalised European partnership between private and public sector partners set up to accelerate through research and innovation the delivery of the Digital European Sky. To do so, it is harnessing, developing and accelerating the take-up of the most cutting-edge technological solutions to manage conventional aircraft, drones, air taxis and vehicles flying at higher altitudes.
