On 1 November the LFV Group once more reduced take-off charges at three of the Groups’ Airports in Sweden. This is the second time this year charges have been reduced.
Stockholm-Arlanda, Stockholm-Bromma and Göteborg Landvetter Airports will be reducing take-off charges by 7% which on an annual basis amounts to a price drop of a further SEK M 29.
– Reducing charges is one way to increase volumes at LFV Airports and means that we have now cut our prices by about SEK M 300 since 2004, says LFV’s Director General Lars Rekke.
LFV also reduced its charges on 1 April 2008 this time aimed at international traffic at the two largest airports in the country, Stockholm-Arlanda and Göteborg Landvetter which, on an annual basis, amounted to SEK M 80.
The LFV Group not only reduces take off charges but also continues to work towards stimulating in-tourism to Sweden and has allocated SEK M 15 to this purpose.
LFV’s prognosis for 2008 is passenger numbers will increase by 3% and the prognosis for 2009 is a drop in passenger numbers of 1%.
