Our parent company, the LFV Group, plays a prominent role in the process of globalising and harmonising Air Traffic Management (ATM) and aviation safety systems. As a founding member of ICAO Sweden has played a key role in the ICAO Council and has participated in its organisational work since it was established in 1947.

Sweden is represented at ICAO headquarters in Montreal and participates in special ICAO technical panels as well as in ECAC (European Civil Aviation Council), Eurocontrol, JAA (EASA), ACI (Airports Council International) and many other international organisations. Lately Sweden has been deeply involved in strategic and conceptual work on an international level aiming for short- and long term development of the European ATM-system.

Experts from the LFV Group have participated in the development of the ICAO Global ATM Concept as well as in the standardization of the technical components and through LFV Aviation Consulting many of those experts are now involved in various implementation activities all over the world. LFV Aviation Consulting has assisted several countries to develop ATM Master Plans that defines the national development of a modern ATM system in line with national characteristics, regional agreements and the ICAO Global ATM Concept.

In 2006 the LFV Group was awarded the IATA Eagle Award for its efforts to improve efficiency while maintaining high levels of services and its technical and procurement collaborations.

Through our pool of experts within the LFV Group LFV Aviation Consulting is proud to be able to offer world-recognised experience in all aspects of ATM such as system design, procurement and commissioning of CNS and ATM systems as well as system maintenance.
